About the Event

In a world where democratic institutions face unprecedented pressure and social divisions deepen, we need leaders who can navigate conflict with moral courage and transformative vision.

Join a four-day immersive experience, from November 17 to 21, 2025, in Kigali, Rwanda, a living laboratory for understanding how leadership shapes our response to humanity’s darkest moments and brightest possibilities.

Developed in partnership with AGLN Fellow and McNulty Laureate Hope Azeda (Africa Leadership Initiative – East Africa), this experience uses Rwanda’s profound transformation as our text — examining the role of hate, leadership failure, international and local inaction that contributed to the brutal realities of the 1994 genocide, alongside the extraordinary story of a nation that chose healing.

This event is open to AGLN Fellows and special guests only.
