Olivia Toro is a Program Manager for Aspen Challenge. For the 10 years prior to joining the Aspen Institute, she taught Earth science to middle school students in Brooklyn, New York and Washington, DC. Love of experiential and expeditionary learning drew her to Aspen Challenge and she is delighted to support educators and students as they embark on this year’s amazing journey. Olivia holds a BA with majors in Political Science and Psychology from Swarthmore College, an MA in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, and an MA in Teaching from the Relay Graduate School of Education. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her bicycle around DC, baking and, most of all, spending time with her daughter, Roxy, her husband, Mike, and their two cats.
