Yesenia G. Sanchez

Senior Program Associate, Aspen Conexion

Yesenia G. Sanchez is the Senior Program Associate for the Aspen Institute Latinos & Society Program. In this role, she leads the team’s Leadership Development portfolio and plays a key role in the annual Advancing Economic Mobility summit, supporting initiatives that promote greater American Latino mobility. Her journey with the Aspen Institute began as a Research Intern, where she identified pathways that prepared disadvantaged communities for a growing digital economy. She previously interned at NASA’s Office of the Chief Scientist.

Yesenia holds a dual MA/MSc from Columbia University and the London School of Economics, and a BA from Saint Louis University. Yesenia’s academic background and upbringing influence the practices she wishes to implement in her work.

In her spare time, she enjoys discovering new restaurants and embarrassing herself on a tennis court. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
