Aspen is a place for leaders to lift their sights above the possessions which possess them. To confront their own nature as human beings, to regain control over their own humanity by becoming more self-aware, more self-correcting, and hence more self-fulfilling.

The Aspen Institute Artist-Endowed Foundations Initiative/AEFI recently held a series of five webinars designed to help AEF leaders assess the impact of the COVD-19 pandemic by better understanding the status and considerations of their key partner sectors looking forward. Webinars in the series focused on what these respective sectors’ leaders see in the next three years for:
Art museums
Art galleries and the art market
Higher education institutions educating artists and art scholars
Curators and curatorial practice
Artists and their communities
Each 90-minute webinar featured a moderated panel discussion among leaders in the respective field followed by Q&A with the audience of AEF leaders.
Registration invitations were sent separately for each session a week prior to the event. Participation was by non-transferrable invitation to AEF leaders.
